Wings for All Program

The Reno-Tahoe International Airport, JUSTin HOPE Foundation Wings for All program was put on Saturday, May 16, 2018. Wings for All is a national initiative of The Arc, an organization that promotes and protects the rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The program is an airport “rehearsal” specially designed for individuals with autism spectrum disorders, their families and aviation professionals. It’s designed to alleviate some of the stress that families who have a child with autism experience when traveling by air.

Approximately two dozen families from Northern Nevada were signed up for the experience.

Our Paws 4 Passengers dogs were asked to attend to help alleviate some of the stress of going through the ticketing process, TSA and to the gates to board the plane.

We were honored to be allowed to share in this amazing experience!
